Light Moment

The Holy One will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places… and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail. – Isaiah 58:11

 

In many Western Christian traditions, today is observed as Ash Wednesday.  It is the first day of Lent and occurs forty days before Easter.  Ash Wednesday gets its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of the faithful as a sign of repentance.  For more information, consider http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ash_Wednesday
